My snagging list has only 2 items:

1. There is no plastic clip on inside of windscren to hold parking receipts etc.

2. I had an issue with lack of English language on sat nav system (all now fixed).

Very pleased with the car. Even the central locking now sounds like the Audi system.

Only downside is that my 21/2 year old 4x4 Octavia estate has been stolen by SWMBO (I still get to drive it sometimes) :

No, its a 2.0TDI Elegance. I had it on order since mid Jan and the 4x4 were not on offer then. Don't think the company would have let me have one anyway.

Does yours have the standard 16 inch Elegance wheels? If so is there any chance of a side on pic??

My Elegance estate is being ordered on Tuesday (In Met Diamond Silver or Sahara) and the only pics in literature seem to be Estates on the 17 inch optional rims.

:eek: Have you asked about this, when I drove a hatch on test drive that had one fitted even though it wasn't fitted properly.

Yes, standard 16 inch. They work fine as we don't really need the harder sports mode (still have the 4x4 for that). I'm just off to the local hand car wash. Will take a few digipics and respond to you.

Did it keep defaulting to Czech? Seen a few like that because the dash is coded incorrectly.

Yes that's exactly what happened. Don't think the dealers know how to solve some of these little problems yet.

No. This car lives inland between London & Hampshire but it is at Hythe Marina. We were on a loosening up run and, like all inlanders, we enjoy a look at the sea sometimes.

We did get to see the "Two Queens docked" (Oooh, don't know if I am allowed to post this bit!!!!!)

My girlfriend works in a pub down there that over looks the water, so I see the 'two queens' often!
