Hi all

I'm the new owner of a 2003 Octavia 1.9TDI estate. Perhaps not the most exciting car in the world, but very practical and cheap to run. I really like it!

I've joined the forum becuase it seems to be populated with very knowleable and helpful people. I'm already needing some knowledge and assistance (I have a post on central locking in the Octavia Mk1 forum).

Finally, I run my Octavia on waste vegetable oil. If anyone would like any information or advice about that I would be very happy to try to help. As I'm sure you already know, feeding you car vegetable oil can be a very expensive mistake! But a bit of knowledge can go a long way and could mean significant reductions in cost. Oh and carbon dioxide emissions
