Multiplayer PC Gaming Hosts

I've had a really hard time today trying to host a gaming ession with my buddy in Malaysia.

Trying to run Jedi Academy. Ordinarly, it works great from my machine. But I haven't done it since I got the router thingy.

And now it doesn't work.

So two favours.

1. Anyone got either of these games on their PC, and if so, can I "borrow" you some time in over the next week or so to try various port forwarding configs to get it running?

2. KNow any cheap outfits that will run/host games for you on a month by month basis? Recommendations, not just results from a browser, thanks. I've run web-searches, but i need reliability and decent QoS.
