Eurocarparts have a couple of 30% discount codes floating about at the moment, OILSPILL30 and MIDMONTH30, so I think it would be a good idea to get some and do a quick oil change, as I mostly do short journeys, so I'm thinking every 6 months would be a good service interval.

When I type in my reg, there are quite a few varieties to choose from, 0W30, 5W30, and 10W40, which oil would be best for my 2006 1.8t VRS please, and how much does it need with a filter change too? Cheers.

Castrol Edge 5W-30. Needs slightly over 4l, I bought 2x 4l bottles and a 1 litre which will be enough for 2 changes and a bit spare in case it needs topping up between.
