The clamp that's already on your car should take the eBay down pipe decat ... I could be wrong though . But I'm nearly sure it will

Any chance you could put up vid of the sound of it when u fit it, I was gonna put my one to the standard cat back, just wanna hear how it will sound

I'll certainly give it a try mate.

I fitted 1 to my bro's 1.8t mk4 golf and it fitted directly to his standard middle pipe. Wos easy fitted but had to bash up heat sheild a bit for clearance. U can hear the turbo spin up a bit more just.

theres not a lot of diff in noise or performance with just the downpipe and decat fitted ,it probs needs a few more psi thro it to help tho lol , and a just put new bolts in the clamp

I had one of the 3in jobs on for a couple of weeks with a milltek non resonating system plus induction kit and mapped,

this one - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-OCTAVIA-1-8T-STAINLESS-STEEL-DOWNPIPE-DECAT-PIPE-/130562747176?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e66256b28

It sounds like a jet fighter on full throttle and was splitting foot long flames out of back on over run when it was red hot apparently,

It was quiet addictive but didn't do much for the fuel economy or front tyres

How loud was that setup ?

I am looking for a stainless system but it needs to be trackday friendly (noise).

The sound of foot long flames sounds good to me (means people will take pics when on track :D).

I did a trackday with it and didnt have no sound trouble

I'm 99% sure all 1.8t cat/downpipes are the same across the a3, a4, golf, jetta, Leon, etc

all except for 4 wheel drives and KO4 turbo variants. eg S3,4motion, Cupra R etc.

A lot (including myself) have this one fitted.
