Re-map and clutch/gearbox life with spirited starts.

Hi,

Im looking at getting the Fabia vRS remapped but im a bit worried about how much it will shorten the life of bits and pieces.

I rarely do traffic light racing starts but maybe 3-4 times a months i will take off a bit spiritly to remind me why a brought a v nice car. either that or when mr i can beet you in my metro pulls up next to me with subs so big the earth shakes, you have to put them in their place. I dont race mercs etc as i know i would be thrashed but mr metro's or mr pug's seems to think ferraris would see their tail lights.

Is it like, do it once and your clutch/geardbox will die or is it not quite as bad as that?

Also how does in gear accelleration affect things. Is it as harsh?
