Skoda Yeti 140HP FWD HUBs Part number

Featured Replies

Looking for upgrade my brakes as standard FSIII 280mm on 81KW TDI Yeti not good enough. But any bigger brakes require different HUB without caliper carriers. Can anyone help with part number ?

Also second - related question: is the wheel bearing the same or I need to order new one with new HUB?

Have you looked at just changing the brake pads to a high performance compound, it would be a lot simpler. Google it, call the company and discuss what you want to acheive and I'm sure you will get a recommendation.

For part numbers try the Russian vagcats site

Would also agree the TDI 110 is under-braked, although in my case it didn't help with the back callipers seizing up (Bosch). Mate in the motor trade took them apart to find no lucubration of any description on the moving parts from factory. Work a lot better now but the damage to the discs is already done in terms of pitted corrosion from their initial under use.

Did this before on another car , but end that nothing can beat big brake. Proper vented drilled big disks weight sometimes the same like stock but works much better. light calipers from wilwood as example reduce the weight even more.

Thanks for link , found everything what I need. Looks like I need to get wheel bearing as well , as mine is 3 holes but proper one is 4 holes.

If you have someone near you with VCDS the brake assist can be increased. There are three settings low, medium and high if you get yours changed from medium to high it may save you some troubl, you've nothing to loose. My brakes were a bit soft for my liking, changing them to high gave mine a firmer more effective pedal.
