Apologies if this has been asked before Guys

I have just bought a full set of Alpine replacement speakers for the Octy VRS for when it arrives - so that's the easy bit.

I would also like to add an active sub, but i dont think the standard HU has any RCA outputs for this, and i dont want to use the speaker input on the amp.

The only option seems to be a replacement HU, but i still want the CD changer - Can anyone offer any advice? :confused:

Is there an easy way to fit an amp?

Is there a direct HU replacement that will use the existing CD changer?

The autochanger is by Panasonic but is has a Bosch type connector on it...if you can sort out the connector you could probably use a Panasonic HU.

However most people replace the HU and if you want an autochanger...that as well.

As for the speakers make sure that the are not too deep...can't remember the accetable depth.....use the search facilty as it has been posted up before.

Thanks for the advice - my selection of speakers was a result of my findings from searching this site. Others have used these speakers, as they are not too deep, so all should be fine

Didnt really want to go down the route of replacing the HU and changer but if that's the only option. I think i'll give the speaker level input a go on the active sub first
