the tube of black grease supplied with the bearing kit? is this for fitting the bearing or to apply to the driveshaft splines?

had my bearing pressed today and before i reassemble that corner i'd like to know what grease to use on the driveshaft splines?

i think it's mainly for the bearing but it woulden't hurt to put a little drop on the spline of the cv/drive flange for easier removal in the future, just my opinion my friend.
