Citigo Price Increase

Featured Replies

I was checking some information on Skoda's website and noticed that there has been an increase on some models since the April brochure and the price that I paid. I have not checked all the models, but a few of the comparisons are below:

MODEL APRIL NOW

SE 60PS 3dr £8530 £8690

SE 60PS 3dr Greentech £8890 £9050

Elegance 60PS 3dr Greentech £9470 £9630

Elegance 75PS 3dr Greentech £9860 £10020

The S 3dr prices appear unchanged.

If interested I suggest you also do a comparison.

(Apologies for formatting - the pre-post looks correct, but not the posting!)

Pass on that. I noticed the increase on Skoda's website. The increase seems to be £160 on the models I listed. I suspect the dealers will be using those prices  !

If you read the small print on the brochures it does say they can vary the spec, prices etc... at any time, so they tell you to check with your dealer. :)

Must be because they are selling like hot cakes, I may be purchasing one soon smallest bhp for son when he passes test , I will wait for a while tho until get a nice second hand one

Surely the only price that matters is the one you pasid or the one you are going to pay.

We all get different deals, good or bad, & if we all got the same deal that would be paying the 'Fixed Price',we surely all try to get a discount of of that.

To think of it, 'fixed pricers' from all suppliers is surely 'Price Fixing' and illegal.

I know it is not rteally, but it ios a thought and you could try that at a dealers next time.

Ask if he might be fixing prices.

thing is, they could ask for more, not less.

Its not fixed pricing

Skoda set the rrp its up to the dealers what they charge

Some will turnover a small profit per unit and rely on the quarterly rebate for total registrations

Others will advertise the full price knowing they have room to sweeten a deal by offering free mats etc Or get haggled down

Its called invitation to treat "inviting an offer" you can offer anything its up to the dealer to do the maths and accept

Hardly surprising there are increases in price, the elegence is about £1500 less than VW UP Black equivolent.

My local dealer has already sold shed loads of Citigo

The reviews are out now and said it's a good cheap car.

Hence up go the prices, because it's all in print now ;)

Being it is popular i am not surprised, when the sales drop off then i expect the prices to come back down a bit
