problems with wireless printer

my kodak hero 5.1 has stopped talkin to my laptop? its still connected to my home network because i can still print from my kodak app on my phone but its no longer connected to my laptop? i have tried turning off my firewall but it still cant detect it using the kodak software i got with the printer.it just says my computer is connected to a ethernet network but my laptop is working fine wirelesly. help please.

have you tried uninstalling the software and going through the pairing process again?

no same router. ill have to root out the disc for the printer, hope i can find it. was hoping i didnt need to do that. lol

go to kodak website, and youll get software in support section, just look for your printer and download it, then uninstall current and install downloaded

Check that your laptop's firewall hasn't suddenly blocked it. The Kodak software usually has a networking utility to find the printer again and re-connect it.

Most problems like this happen either because of the firewall, especially McAfee or Norton, or because the Printer's IP address has changed and the laptop hasn't caught on yet that this has happened.

Can you ping it?
