iPod bluetooth connection

Featured Replies

Got my new superb (170TDi Elegance Estate) on Friday - REALLY impressed !!!!

I've managed to connect my phone ok and all is working, however I'm having problems connecting my ipod touch.

The car and ipod find each other, but when I put in a PIN on the ipod and same PIN on car just get 'Log in not possible' message.

I think the problem is PIN numbers ??

Any help greatly appreciated. - thanks

Perhaps your bluetooth search should be the other way around. I assume you just want to connect the ipod as a media player.

On the maxi-dot go to Phone->Bluetooth->Media Player, and get the car to search for your ipod. See page 143 of the car owners manual (assume you have the latest May 2012 edition).

Hi All,

I have a Skoda Superb II (April 2012) with all the bells and whistles installed etc but I am having a problem with (I think) my MMI interface kit? Basically I have a 80GB Ipod linked via the wired connection in the armrest and it plays perfectly...... then I keep getting a mad 10 seconds of over modulated, heavily distorted crackling garbled mess, then the music just goes back to normal, sometimes the head-unit just displays "no media in" as though the ipod has disconnected - then it reconnects again. I have tried a different ipod, cable and even a head unit, but problem still persists - has anyone else seen anything similar? I think it could also be related somehow to the blue-tooth kit as you can sometimes hear that annoying mobile interference sound before the sound goes haywire...

I also cannot get 2 of my HTC's to work with hands free kit, my Samsung connects for only 10 seconds at a time, but my Nokia and I-phone work great!?!

Oh, I managed to over-ride the Video in motion on the DVD player (thanks to the link on here) using the CD 'fix' so if you have a new Superb and are wondering if it would work or not, it does...

Final question, reversing camera for the superb (its a hatch back combo), anyone recommend one?

Cheers All.....
