hi all just aquick question i need a new map sensor and just wondered is there abetter one to get or use of a diffarent car other than the standard one

or should i just get a normal one

i believe there would be no benefit to going to another one, as all it does is tells the ecu what the manifold pressure is, any other one would just read the same pressure. I would go OEM personally

is that mounted on the intercooler?

yeah thats the one that goes just after the cooler

No point going for a different one unless you're running really high boost. The standard one can measure up to around 22 PSI iirc (2540mbar).
