Ok, there seem to be a few RCD510's around (and a RNS515 but that's a little too much for the piggy bank).

I take it an RCD510 should fit without physical issue, and I'll need to replace the dash trim with the Columbus one.

(Ok so it'll say VW when it starts up and glow red, but I can live with that)

Anything I should be aware of?

Ended up buying a 2012 RCD 310 DAB. All I "lose" is the SD card (already have a 6 disc changer in the boot). Gaining.....DAB

Get yourself the MDI interface and that CD changer will be a thing of the past

Connected the unit up and it doesn't recognise the changer :( (Possibily a coding issue)

Will look at MDI as soon as I've sold the Bolero
