spare wheel foam insert

Featured Replies

Bit of a random question but I'm after the part number for the foam insert which sits in the spare wheel well, NOT the one that sits inside the actually spare wheel itself.

The insert I'm after is for the electric tyre compressor, tyre sealant and locking wheel but to sit in serucely.

If people could check their spare wheel wells and grab the part number for the correct foam insert that would be brilliant.

Thanks :)

This part number is in mine 5J7 601 012 H 1106540708 6837/1 fabia MB Ive written all mumbers just in case

Cheers buddy, does yours have a compressor and tyre sealant?

Also see the following link for the spare parts book;

In Russian, so you will need Google translate, unless you know the language of course.

yes but i bought a spare wheel and wheel kit got foam insert in the shed may £

Are you selling it by any chance? :)

Im after all of that as well. My Water Meth Kit is going in the spare wheel well, so i need to remove the normal spare wheel setup

Good thinking batman haha, I'm on weight saving mode now so got myself a compressor and tyre sealant brand new off good old ebay at £11.50 with £10 postage to replace the spare wheel and tool kit :)

Do you have any images of the foam insert and kit. Ive not even started looking itno it yet.

Best looking on the Internet dude, unless Skoda1982 has any images?

good thinking on the swap. I might see if anyone fancies doing a straight swap. Full spare wheel and tool kit, for the tyre foam/compresor and foam inserts.

Once I get my hands on a foam insert I will know the exact weight difference between the two

I have removed the rear weights on the crash bar, saved around 20kg on the exhaust (apparently), removed spare wheel and tool kits, just need the foam insert to secure the compressor and sealant for the wheel well then a lightweight battery but unsure which one and where about to get hold of a decent one for daily use

Min only lasts around 5-7 days before going flat if the car is just parked up. As long as i drive it before we reach that, its faultless. Thats for another thread.(Hurdy has his for sale btw.....)

daily drive so going flat shouldn't be a problem, I have pm'd him cheers!

i will take pick and post

Are you selling it by any chance? :)
