Pollen Filter

Featured Replies

Hi, I have got a 2.0 Tdi 06 superb does anyone know how easy it is to change the pollen filter? do I have to take all the wipers off and the battery out? Many Thanks

No it's a piece of cake,

remove the rubber seal on the plenum chamber cover (the plastic cover the wipers go through)

lift the passenger side up, remove the plastic clip in the centre front of the pollen filter housing (IIRC it just lifts UP), remove filter.

Whilst you are in there check for debris around the filter housing and ideally remove the rubber bungs (x2) in the plenum chamber, this will prevent the water ingress issue all these cars suffer with.

You may wish to read up on the 2.0 140PD oil pump issues on this engine (if you are not already aware)
