Got hold of a resonably priced Pioneer double din HU from fleabay, and finally getting around to fitting it.

Am I missing something, or have I purchased a lemon???

My previous Kenwood unit was a straightforward plug 'n play jobbie. Hooked this bad boy up and there's nowt happening!!

Are we talking additional adapter harness, possible wiring swops, or worst case scenario have I been diddled......????? :wonder:

I've done a bit of digging on here and t'internet and nothing really explains it.

The HU is an FH-P80BT and its hopefully going into the Furby.

Any hints, tips or tricks would be welcomed as always.

All you need is to swop red and yellow wires around

An inline aerial booster

A trim piece from skoda to fill in gap above unit.

If it still isn't working I'd guess you've bought a lemon. Unless youve possibly had a senior moment and not turned the ignition on
