Wheres best place to look for a not very expensive turbo? After a pd150 for my car

Obv tried out favourite auction site, got about 300 to spend realistically atm, but as time progresses ill have saved more

I'm no expert but budget seems a bit tight?!?

Often wondered what a scrap yard would want. The sort where you go in with a bag of tools and take what you need. . .

Budget is just current figure i have. Seen a couple on fleabay previously and they were around that value. If i get a naffed one cheap then i'll go hybrid.

And i was at upullit at weekend, not a single pd tdi vw in sight apart from a passat. Which was lacking an engine

Ah fair enough... Not sure i would be comfortable doing it that way.

What would your expected outlay be doing it that way?

Hybrid around 600? Plus the turbo? Im not sure i just know what i want in the end aha
