have a 2002 mk1 vrs and the cd changer has finally packed up and looking at all the head units out there they all look tacky (to me) was wondering if you can retrofit satnavs from the newer skodas

I'm pretty sure the newer types wont fit, definitely not a straight fit anyway, there is the older unit MFD1 which is a direct fit but as your CD changer has died there is no point, probably best off with an aftermarket unit TBH, there are some nice units out there, just finding one you like thats the trouble
