Didn't realise there were any of these:-

They were an interim model between the le and fl, I thought I was getting one of these when I ordered mine, but ended up with one of the first fl vrs estates in the uk.

I can just imagine the conversation on the production line.. picture the scene, autumn 2009:

Josef: "bollosckz, we've run out of pre-face lift interiors".

Vladimir: "no worries dude, we have a whole bunch of those new stye ones just delivered. that'll fit fine, no-one will notices. simplesz."

They must have run out of wing mirrors too then :giggle:

Mine is a 09 plate pfl has the fl interior, mirrors and ccza engine

A local dealer said this was done for the final pre FLs but only with a DSGS box. Not site how true that is though.....

Nope. Mines manual Mr_awol

Fair enough - did think it might be a case of te salesman 'guessing' to make it look like he knew what he was on about ;)

Yep, I've seen a few for sale as well.

Like Rob says, just a bit of a 'parts bin special' really, between full pre-FL production ceasing, as the FL coming along :)

Also found an 09-plate anthracite pre-FL, with pre-FL wing mirrors but the FL clocks, climate and Bolero

Best combination as I still think the pre-fl has a better exterior look.

I really can't decide. I like the look of the anthracite pre-FL certainly, but the FL look has certainly grown on me too...

I prefer pre FL outside (particularly dislike the chavvy DRLs on the FL) but FL innards. I went for the LE as it also has the nicest seats ever fitted to a VRS..... ;)
