Sloshing sound

Featured Replies

I heard water sloshing around my citigo, took it into the dealers and they said it was due to the drain holes in the sills. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem

Late at night (when its extremely quite) i was sitting in my car (about to get out) i rocked the car reaching over to the passenger footwell and heard the fuel sloshing about in the tank at the back of the car.

After a good downpour the other day I opened the door to get in and saw a stream of water pour out from under the door.

I thought well at least the drain holes are clear.

Not a problem! My Citigo and the two previous different generation Octavia's all had this! It's worse if you are parked on a slope too.

As I park on a sloping drive which also has a cross fall, the issue is greater. Because of this slope I have also heard water sloshing about in the ventilation box area which sits above the heater and has drainage tubes. The Citigo definitely leaves more of a wet trail on the drive than the Octavia's did.
