Just a quick one guys.

Are the exhausts from the petrol and diesel Fabias the same?

Mad ein the same way, yes but the fittings and maniflods can be different. If you are wondering why DERV exhausts last longer than a petrol car, it's because the inside of the DERV exhaust builds up a protective layer of those lovely oily diesel deposits.

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti

2017 octavia 2.0 tdi . smoke from exhaust, whistling noise from turbo, burning oil. smoke looks whiteish/blueish. turbo pipes all ok. burning alot of oil. no fault codes or eml lights. only light on dash is orange oil can light

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.
