My son borrowed my car a few days ago, left the lights on and the battery went flat. Got it all sorted but I've searched everywhere and can't find the radio/sat nav code.

Apart from going to the dealer, does anyone know how I can get it?

If the radio is original I believe the lock will clear itself after a while of driving around.

It should sort itself out.

It should be on the sticker on the instruction manual for the head unit, if you still have it?

Otherwise, phone the original selling dealer. When I had my Parrott installed I forgot to note the code down, but the dealers were very helpful and rang me back with the code. Not sure if all dealers will do this though. I could have nicked the thing for all he knew :wonder:

My DX unit had a sticker on top of it

Sometimes simply scanning the radio via VCDS or similar makes it unlock and re-request the code from ECU.This worked with my Roomster's radio which somehow locked due to pressing on/off button repeatedly in quick succession.
