dust centre caps on sub dammaged is it bust

like a helpfull likttle chap my 2year old decided my 12" sub made a great little drum when i took it out of the car today

basically he has pushed all the domed centre part right in

is it broke now or will it work fine just look ****e

what hapens it i try and get a knife under it push it out and stick it back on

It might push out, but be gentle. ;) As long as its not been punctured anywhere, I should say you'll be fine. :D

yeah thats what happened to my new sub, with my wee little un(fell onto it lol) - but the sub was fine(so long as the cone itself hasnt teared?)then it will fart like a rotweiler on bad eggs diet. i didnt bother trying to push it back out just in case i did more damage - and the sub was very happy still, even with 500wrms up its rear :D

It happened to me once so I just connected the sub to the amplifier and played "bass, beats & melody" for 1 minute after which the domed center came back to normal position :D

Use a vacuum cleaner to suck it back out!

Worked for me...
