I collected my new car on Saturday after what felt like a long 4 week wait. It's a replacement for a 5 year old TDi Sport. Good as that was I've hankered after a vRS for most of that time and I'm extremely happy so far. I've gone petrol this time and even though I'm keeping to reasonable revs at the moment, it feels like it's going to be very quick. The Sport was a great car but not really much of a swap for my motorcycle in the performance stakes. I think the vRS could be the buzz I've been missing!

It wasn't a factory build (needless to say with that wait time) but has some good extras - bluetooth, multifunction wheel, rear sensors, sunroof, alcantara upholstery, spare wheel - oh, and it's a DSG so flappy paddle gear box. Great fun! Like playing the Xbox

I've taken a few pictures so I can remember how shiny and unblemished it is once my other half has kerbed the alloys and the kids have destroyed the interior. I'm going to attempt to post some here. If it works I'll add more if anyone's interested.

Yeah. It looks a bit of a sleeper if you're not paying attention. I can't decide whether to de-badge the back or not for added stealth.

I went race blue for mine. Mine was a factory order about 4 weeks back. Unconfirmed build date of next week

Also very nice. My kids wanted the metallic green one parked outside the dealers! The wait is annoying is it? Worth it in the end though. Sure you'll love it.

looks nice and enjoy, I went from a 2L TDi to the petrol vRS, I thought I'd be happy with the extra power..... but soon realised it didn't have that 'wow' factor hence the remap a year after buying, maybe it was the fact my TDi had been remapped too??
