I will pick up my new superb in dec/jan and will bring it back to Germany so I need to sort out my winter tyres. Unfortunately my rims from the 3 series won't fit so I'm on the search

A workmate has a set from his old passat and I'm trying to workout if they fit. The size info is,

205/55 R16 96H 6.5J x 16H2

AFAIK, it should be 7J. Besides there are more very important matters:

1) is bolts circle pattern dia. Old Passats may have 5x100 whereas Supebr is 5x112

2) wheel offset (ET) should be ET45

I've just bought a set of VW/Seat/Skoda steel wheels for £190 plus some winter tyres (Pirelli Sottozero 2). All costed me ~£600.
