Urgently recommend a DVD recorder

Hi All

Our DVD player has just this minute packed up. So I'll be off to buy a new one shortly, but wondering if anyone has any recommendations. Features in order of preference are:

1. Multiregion & NTSC output as well as PAL.

2. DVD recorder, with SCART in and must record off the NTL box.

3. DivX playback - less important as have mastered the dark art of conversion to DVD - it's still time-consuming though!

4. MAYBE a hard drive recorder. But I'd probably rather keep the cost down here, unless you know of a bargain

I reckon I have enough hi-fi shops/mail order PC suppliers within range to be able to pick up any model, so doesn't have to be a big brand name. Cannot imagine a weekend without a DVD player but I'm bearing in mind that failing the above, I could just get one from Tesco for
