Strange rattle from under the bonnet....

Featured Replies

Just driven home with an odd rattle from the front of the car. Opened the bonnet to find literally hundreds of sycamore seed pods had blown in while the car was parked. Taken ages to clear them all out, they had forced themselves into every nook and cranny.

iI suppose you'll find the ones you missed when the saplings start sprouting!

Are you sure you haven't got a resident squirrel? :hi:

Had a mouse living between a Astra van and the Golf V a few years back, kept finding seeds and droppings under their respective bonnets. Had to get it with a nipper trap in the end, as it started using the Astra's sound insulation as bedding; oddly it left the Golf alone but met it's demise there on the battery box :(
