I'm about to move my VDO Dayton Navigationset (MS 5000 and MR 6000 headunit) form my Xantia to my new Octavia II Elegance.

As far as I've got I've 2 possibilities to make things run:

1. get the tachosignal from behind the speedo and stabilize this signal with a so-called API. Other signals to be found at the CAN-bus using an adapter-cable. Total costs approx.

Although my garage told me that they could deliver a double-din mask, they couldn't yesterday when delivering the car. I now have the new mask (1 din and a small hole for keeping little stuff).

Does anyone of you have a real double-din mask in his Octavia 2 ?
