Side indicator in mirror is not working

Featured Replies

Hello, just yesterday my side indicator in right mirror stoped working. Anyone had similar problem?

Is it just some bad connection or faulty LED panel?

cheers,

mish

Worth checking the Connector, they seem to fail quiete often.

I clipped my wing mirror in Spain and 2 of the 3 LED's failed, €20 for a new strip and all working again.

How do i check connector? The one in the mirror? How to open it without damaging it? I mean, i am not very confortable opening mirror - don't wanna break something :)

So its just 20€ .. thx god, was shure its more expensive.

Thx for replys!

You need to pull out the Mirror to reach the Connector behind. There are many threads here showing how to remove the Mirror. Simply said, hold the mirror on one edge and pull it out with some real force. At one point it would feel the Mirror would break, but be rest assured it won't provided it is pulled out with the right force and angle.

If it is the LED's gone bust, you would need to remove the motor housing to reach them.
