Hello All

My Mrs is looking into getting a vrs and I found this for her

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-SKODA-FABIA-VRS-BLACK-/170937264150?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D3243328419571538465%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D170937264150%26

Can anyone just let me know if they have seen it about or if its near to them maybe they could go look around it for me?

im no expert but would guess its worth around 3g.

looks tidy.

Looks good - someone's been washing the wheels well! It's pretty early - it's got the long vRS badge and hence might have the early gearbox. The handbrake looks a touch high...

(Curiously I see the original launch models from around July 2003 have the short length badge but certainly you see the long badge on early cars.)

... would guess its worth around 3g.

I'd say more like 3k!

FYI - depending whether it is an early or late 53 plate it may not have the 1 touch 3 blink indicators ( my ex 53 plater didnt).

Strange that they waited till around 80K miles to have cambelt changed - Should be done around 60 K & they dont say if water pump was done at the same time. ( best to ask ).

There is a body of opinion that the cambelt limit is 75,000 miles which ties in with the continental 120,000 kilometres interval - it seems Skoda UK have tighter requirements than Skoda Europe or they just want people going to dealers more often...
