Thanks, I will bear that in mind. Rechecked the fault codes on the climatronic panel and only showing the recirc motor duff. Might explain without AC on why my car mists up slightly, no fresh air!

Armed with a new controller, Ive passed this to my mechanic pal! Let him know about the potential wiring issue too!

Corroded main wire feed to the power controller! Looks as if someone had pierced te insulation at some stage with a multimeter probe and over time the heavy positive to the fan controller had broken down.

All sorted now! Thanks guys to who contributed to this thread,

Glad it's sorted, mine (as yours probably has) gave me a major headache, I was all ready to give up on it!

Hell yes. Last thing to do is sort that pesky flap motor out as its stuck on recirc
