Help ! My superb 2.5 V6 TDI having problems...

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, I am having the below problems with my SUPERB 2.5 V6 TDI 2005

1) on a cold start there is a long sound ( approx 15 to 30 seconds ) like that of leaking air at high pressure just the way you hear from a compressor or probably pressure cooker. The sound cuts out when throttle is pressed and becomes of a very short duration once the engine has reached operating temperature. I got the intercoolers pipes checked for leakage from a local mechanic but could not find anything. Sometimes it seems to come from below the engine compartment on the left and other times from the right. The car seems to stall a little bit when that noise comes. Please help by giving your valued opinion / suggestion on this.

2) How to change the Automatic transmission oil and filter and which oil to use. Is there any way to drain out the old oil almost completely. Mechanics here just fill in as much oil gets drained out from the oil pan of the auto transmission, is there any way to check the current oil level. Thanks

3) I just got a full suspension overhaul done with all arms, shocks, steering ends, mountings etc changed but now i seem to hear a " TUK TUK " sound from somewhere near the steering rack. Any suggestions to adjust correct please.

I would be grateful to all if you could please help me.

Anuj from India
