The part I've bought says 1K2819653B

Can anyone advise or point me to a decent online parts checker.

For gen, try skodaparts.com You might also be able to put in your part number for those two filters and cross reference them.

Could try Euro Car Parts as they are reasonably priced (with the discount) and they have an online parts catalogue based upon your registration.

The premium filter is active carbon to help reduce odours in the cabin.

I looked at ECP but with a bit of webferreting it seems I can get genuine parts at ECP prices.

ECP seem great for oil at 30% off with free delivery though.
