...or in other words: WISHING ALL WAS QUIET AND NORMAL IN ASHDOD, all south / center of Israel and also Gaza - as it is in pastoral Tarvisio and other sane places in the world !

These days are insane here !

A Snowmonster caught my eye in Tarvisio (north Italy) last month, on a short trip to Croatia, Slovenia + one day "jump" to Italy and Austria.

Don't want to start a political thread - just wanted to share feelings with sane people which have interest in sane occupations such as mudflaps, roofbars and Snowmonsters rather than firring rockets and other killing stuff one on each other.

Not wanting to get political as I feel frustrated by the situation there, time for a Two Tribes contest ala Frankie goes to Hollywood and let the two leaders slog it out in a ring.

That would at least save the hopeless loss of lives.

Sadly I feel that the situation will go on for years to come, I just hope that it doesn't escalate.

Strangest thing is that it's only the views and influence of a few people to actually cause conflict happen.

until someone fronts up to both sides and confronts them with political reality sadly not much hope for permanent solution. Israel has a right to live in peace and Palestine has a right to exist free of blockades etc. Without both recognising that then nothing is going to change.

Ahh, thats 'Treviso' - great place, spent some time there for the first time this August and Beti will be spending a number of weeks in Italy next year during the summer as the family love it so much there.
