Fitting a new headunit?

Featured Replies

i was planning on fitting my head unit 6x9's and subs next week, but i was reading on ross-tech that if u dont sort the 'k' wire or something it put a fault code on the ecu and kills skoda's diognostics tool? can i still fit the new hu, whithout this k wire??

K wire is in the canbus...the wiring loom.. and it had been found that if you didn't use the correct adapter it could put 12v on the k line. So when the dealer tech plug in the 1552 diag kit it blows it up...rather expensive....or something liek that anyway. ;)

Should be able to get the correct adapter from Halfrauds for about
