Hi, i always read threads about what tyres to get and what they are like etc, so my vrs had four knackered tyres when i got it which i did not mind as i can choose the four i want and its an obvious negotiating tool

I went for continental contact sport 5 all round, got them from blackcircles and they cost 485 quid fully fitted and i have done 400 miles over the weekend, in the rain especially they are fantastic!

Try winter tyres and you will be amazed!!!

Agree with this fully. I have had the contact 5s on my fronts for a while now and they hold really well. Just need to sort the rears. Very impressed.
