Sad to say that after 18 months and 13000 trouble free miles, whilst my wife was approaching green traffic lights a Micra driver approaching from the opposite direction NOT to give way to oncoming traffic when turning right. The Yeti is booked in for repair Friday and will be off the road for a week. The Micra, which was T-boned, had to be recovered and is not likely to be repaired. Reassuring to know that you have something solid around you and those you care about.

On the plus side, there's one less Micra on the roads. Hateful cars...

Hi mull cot, sorry to see your pride & joy damaged like that, but as you say, the Micra suffered the most damage :yes:

Don't forget, modern cars are meant to crumple to stop your internal organs smashing themselves into your ribcage. I tried to explain that to a history teacher who wouldn't buy a new car as she saw when they crash they just crumple. I did tell if she did crash her old 1980's estate car, it may not deform but she would... she just didn't get it, hence why she teaches history not physics I reckon!
