satnav/radio querie

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just joined this forum and hope to get some advise please. I collected this morning my nearly new skoda yeti plus 2.0 in exchange for another yeti. This new car has a built in satnav, which I did not have in my old one. The garage I got it from is closed for the weekend so I cannot contact them till Monday. I started off trying the satnav, which works a treat. Whilst driving I switched the radio on. When I then switched the radio off after a little while, the satnav also switched off and I cannot get the satnav to work unless I switch the radio on as well. I think there is probably an easy answer to this and I don't think anything is wrong. I do not have a manual for the radio or satnav, so cannot look it up. I hope someone on this forum may have the same or similar car and knows the answer. Thank you.

On my Columbus when the sat nav is in use but not making an announcement you can reduce the volume to zero and when the sat nav makes announcemnets they still be audible
