Found some of this stuff at a tesco petrol station by the jewellery quarter in birmingham this afternoon.

Not sure if its a nationwide promo but just thought I'd give any1 local to the area a heads up.

Unless the oil is to VW504 spec, then it's not suitable for your car.

O I know ye, I think its 502 or 505 spec but just thought I'd let others know in case it were suitable for them.

Unless like mine it consumes so much oil, that the long life bit is redundant. I use fuchs pro s 5w40 as this was one if a handful recommended by opie. If my car wasn't remapped, I'd use the castrol oil without hesitation.

Have you checked it doesn't have a faint whiff of chip about it?

More likely to smell of balti house than chippy in Birmingham.
