"Introduce Yourself"... well... Hello, I got an Octavia SE Connect last week, and I'm just getting to know it. So far I love it.

Got my phone connected by Bluetooth today and I'm delighted with the integration with the radio. It should perhaps have voice control too, but the SE Connect doesn't have the steering wheel controls so I guess it can't - it's not a worry though as it probably would not understand a Scots accent

Welcome to the forum. What engine did you go for- the connect looked a good deal, not quite an SE plus, but a step up from the normal SE?

Thanks for the welcome. It's the 1.6 TDi, estate. The SE Connect compared to SE has 16 in alloys, "acousic rear parking sensors", maxi-dot, MDI, metallic, and the telephone bluetooth setup that I referred to. Pretty good package. I got about the last one in the area. Ive just sourced a proper spare wheel and kit on ebay.

yes Skoda seem to have had some cracking deals on the MKII Octavia over the last 12 months or so,I originally bought a TSI when they had the VAT back offer on just the petrol versions. Hope you enjoy your car- should be good on the old fuel consumption too if that's important to you. I'm seriously impressed with my CR as it doesn't 'drive like a deisel' at all

Disregard this i have now found a brand new Octavia TDI SE Connect Estate locally and a deposit has been paid :-)
