Hi all,

I am currently looking to change cars and have found a nice looking octavia 4x4 which tickd all the boxes. My question is are there any issues I shoulf look out for? It appears to have been well looked after with receipts for plenty of maintenance work, 3 cambelt changes arb's etc.

I have driven the 1.8t engine before when I had a leon cupra so know how that should drive etc.

Welcome aboard

As with any car there are a few 'characteristics', coolant temp sensors, vac/breather hoses, throttle body requires cleaning etc.. Have a look at the stickies in the mk1 Octy section, loads of info there.
