Cruise control stalks

So on my Edition 100 I have the 'big slider' type cruise control stalk (3U0953513B I believe) on the left which does nothing basically other than activate or deactivate cruise. On the steering wheel I have the -/Set, +/Res and Cancel buttons.

On my old Octavias I had the 1J0953513 stalk which has +/- and Set/Res buttons built into the stalk. It was much nicer to use than the steering wheel buttons on my Superb (which has the later Octavia II type wheel as it's an Edition 100) which are not in the most comfortable place (and whoever thought putting - and Set together must have been mad - the exact opposite of most other cruise-equipped vehicles).

So - does anyone know if one can swap the big-slider type for the nicer 1J0 type?
