Orange Ipad Contract Upgrade

Featured Replies

Good Morning :)

I have an ipad 1 which I bought almost two years ago on an Orange 24 month contract - the ipad was effectivley 'free' and I am paying £25 a month for 3g etc. Has anyone had anything similar and do you know what I can do ant the end of the contract? I.e. do I just cancel it or can I upgrade to a newer ipad and start a new contract like I do with a phone.

I cant find any details on the orange site and the customer services dont seem to be any help either so I'm heading towards just cancelling the contract and ebaying the pad towards a new one in march as I dotn desperatley need the 3g although it is handy sometimes.

It depends on what Orange offer. As it is the end of a contract you can just cancel and go to a different provider or re-sign at a different rate. If there are no details of upgrades, I guess that is no longer an option. Anyway, you will probably find they will try to steer you towards the 4G EE option instead. If you must have a new Ipad, why not look on the apple website. The last I heard they were doing 0% finance, I'm not sure if they still do though.
