Remote Unlocking Issue

Featured Replies

The battery ran low on the Superb a couple of days ago and I flattened the battery trying to start it. Got a jump, it started, took it for a run and it seems fine now but since it happened, when I plip the remote twice to unlock drivers and pasenger's doors, only the drivers door unlocks. The second press does nothing. If I unlock the door using the key in the door with 2 turns, all doors unlock but when I open a passenger door it sets off the alarm. If I unlock with the remote and then unlock the passenger doors using the door switch, it's fine.

Any ideas what could have happened?

Thanks

Reset the ecu and ccm.

Disconnect battery overnight one time and most likely all will be restored.

Don't need to remove battery, just slacken the fixing bolt and remove the negative (black) cable. Pin it somewhere securely away from both the battery and any metal metallic surface of the car. Doesn't have to be overnight, just a few hours is easily enough.
