Dave you again are we the only ones on here?

Yes its SDA smartphone, got it as free upgrade, ive already got a nav system but thought it would be nice to combine the two in one small package, just didnt know if they were any good, i see they are using them on the gumball so may not be to bad.

I've got Tom Tom on an old XDA and it works pretty well. They're launching a new version but I don't know if there are any major differences. The only thing is that my version doesn't have a few new roads on it, like the M6 toll for example...

Thing is with tomtom can you use the interface without a touch sensitive screen? I can't imagine that works very well.

I've got the MDA Compact

CoPilot for Windows Smartphones works well for me. The best deal I've found on it is here...

http://www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk

Where they also give you a free download of POIs of speed camera locations.

They do TomTom stuff on that site as well, but I've always used CoPilot for PDA and Smartphone and had no reason to try TomTom.

Only thing really poor about co-pilot is their technical support team are the most useless non-responsive bunch of people to scurn this earth!!

I had copilot on my old phone which broke so wanted to install on my new phone, but it wont activate until I deactive the license on my old phone...which is broken. Their tech support wont speak to me....Useless!!

I have had copilot for 3 versions on my ipaq if you are still having problems I speak to a specific person if you want contact details of this person PM me.

As to copilot I went for that one aove all the others (they are all about the same) because it actually tells you the name of the road you need to turn into instead of "turn right" mind you it has some fun with welsh names.

All the systems (copilot, tom tom, Navman) all use the same basic map data they purchase it from the same company so they will all be uptodate ish so go for the features you want.
