Anybody using a different steering wheel?

Featured Replies

I've been looking at different steering wheels on eBay, of all places. I know the Mk4 R32 fit but will the SEAT Leon Cupra R ones fit?

I like the look of this one, I like to,hear what people use and think?

I am sure it will , but not sure the air bag will

It looks the same design though

That's what I thought, I like the red stitching on the steering wheel thought it would look good in my Red VRS. To be honest that is the question I forgot to ask about the air bag, just took it for granted that it would(could have been costly)

iirc the Seat leather steering wheels airbags have a slightly different shape at the end of the spokes

The R32 one is awesome :)

looking at a few threads in VW and Audi forums think you are going to be ok .

A lot of Seat guys fit the R32 steering wheels and use their airbaigs.

Porsche GT3 RS-eque - but nicer

Bet they go for megabucks

Dont quote me but its just the airbag style that differs. I think the base unit will be interchangeable :)

Cheers for that boys really appreciate all the info and links. Something to look into and hopefully it will help other people.

And that's another can or worms opened up with the Mk5/6 flat bottomed steering wheel, minds working overtime now..........

I want one of those 240PS Quattro Sports! Friend at work had one and loved it.

The wheel in the Quattro Sport looks like an RS wheel, just covered in alcantara instead.

I've always thought about getting my wheel re-trimmed in black alcantara..... would be yummy.
