DMF - Used warranty

Featured Replies

I bought a 59 plate 1.9tdi earlier in the year and it's been great apart from one niggle - pulling away in 1st.

Pulling away with no load/down hill is fine but when applying rev's or pulling away on a hill the car can shudder/vibrate. Looking at threads on here it looks like it may be the DMF on it's way out. Where do you stand with this, would it be a warranty item or just 'wear and tear' that I will need to cover when it gives in?

It's just ticked over 40k on clock.

Cheers

Sounds like my old A6 - I had the clutch & DMF changed under warranty.
