Please tell me how much the RFL is for these models...I have been told that it's only £20 pa...?

I think that there is too much focus on road tax - for the lower groups at least. As anything up to group F is only £135 max - in reality about £2.50 per week which in the case of my 1.4TDI would buy me less than 2 litres of derv - 20 miles/week or 3 miles/day. I know all savings are great but it's not a show stopper when purchasing a car (mine is the 70bhp version which I think is actually dearer to tax than the 80bhp version).

if you spent the money from road tax on fuel you wouldn't even get a full tank! one of the reasons I went for the 1.6 TDI

Well, my wife has now test driven the MC and suprise - suprise! she now wants to order a new Corrida Red with the Amundsen Sat-Nav fitted...

I'm sure that there will not be many of those in the showrooms so I guess that we are in for a long wait?

Anybody got any comments on this system? Any around out there...?

(By the way Arny - 3 years RFL for this car is £60, not £40 - this is a lot less than the £510 that she pays for her Mk1 Fabia Vrs! over 3 years...)

Having been offered £4750 for the Vrs I reckon that I should try to sell it privately for a little bit more?

I do not have the Amundsen unit but it is a great little car.

It's an expensive option, compared to a £100 Tom Tom...

Mine is Corrida Red and sadly I might have to upgrade to a larger car (probably Octy), as my wife might be changing jobs and losing the company car. I'll be sad to see it go...
