Still got cold starting problem

Featured Replies

Well changing the fuel filter did not work I had to give it a good crank to get it started today.

I have just had a thought, this has only started since i had the belt changed could it be a tooth out???, or could something have been disturbed when it was changed

i have also noticed that i can no longer here a pump sound from the back of the car when the ignition is first turned on, is there an electric pump near or in the fuel tank????

There is no faults showing on the mecks VDS, or mine

if its only occured since you changed the belt, i would defo check your timing again just to be sure, can i ask is it a diesel or petrol?

Would this affect it on cold starting only though? Surely it would be every time the car is started?
